Chandrika Devarakonda, Dr

Associate Professor at University of Chester

Dr. Chandrika Devarakonda is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education and Children’s Services at the University of Chester. Prior to this. She has worked in special schools, co-ordinated Community based rehabilitation projects in India and with ethnic minority communities in Manchester. In addition, taught in different further and higher education institutions on courses related to early childhood and health and social care to young people.

Chandrika is the Chair for the Social Justice, Equity and diversity for the Research Development Communities (RDC) in the Association for Teacher Education in Europe).

She has written books, book chapters, articles in reputed journals. The books include
