Dr. Tejura is a Senior Lecturer with over 25 years of experience in Higher education, with almost 10 years at QMUL where he completed his Accounting Education based PhD thesis. He embodies social mobility having been brought up in a council estate in East London and sought education as a pathway out of deprivation for himself and his family. In giving back to society, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Draper’s Multi-Academy Trust, entrusted with four schools in Havering.
Chandres is a student-centric academic and has completed a multitude of roles around this duty from teaching here in the UK to China. He has undertaken other duties to help his School such as student recruitment in India, working closely with and presenting to colleagues there including agents.
He has also presented at numerous prestigious conferences around education and learning and his passion, ‘ethics in accounting education and training’.
