Bethany Cooke is a maths tutor within custodial education and a student at Nottingham Trent University. Bethany has achieved a first classification education degree, PGCE and is studying her Master’s alongside full-time employment commitments.
Bethany has studied special educational needs and disability (SEND) for over five years and uses her personal experience of having a learning difficulty to motivate others to continue an education pathway. Her research interests are in custodial education, SEND, collaborative learning and learning technologies. Bethany aspires to be an advocate for lifelong learning and wants to support the development of custodial education.
