Dr Bethan Garrett has been co-convening the North-West Beach School network since 2017. This operates along the Sefton, Fylde and Morecambe coastlines and is a free collective of educators and health professionals, designed to empower teachers and educators in using the coast in their practice. Beth is currently working at Lancaster University as a lecturer in the Morecambe Bay Curriculum, a place-based approach to education across the Morecambe Bay area.
