Ausma Bernotaite is a PhD candidate at the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University, Australia, and an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). Her research is focused on the dynamics and developments of digital surveillance technologies in Asia and innovative methodologies for Chinese criminology. She is also a passionate young educator, interested in student engagement in the classroom using new digital technologies. Ausma is currently a member of the digital research education development team, helping build research excellence university wide.
