Andrew Charlton-Perez is Head of School of Mathematical, Computational and Physical Sciences and Professor of Meteorology at the University of Reading. He has BSc and PhD degrees in Meteorology from the University. He helped to lead development of the National Climate Education Action Plan (https://www.reading.ac.uk/planet/climate-education/climate-education-plan) and the Climate Ambassador Scheme (https://www.reading.ac.uk/planet/climate-education/climate-ambassador-scheme). He is an advisor to the Department for Education on the Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy and a member of the Green Jobs Delivery Group.
