Amanda Anderson, Mrs

Postgraduate Researcher (PhD) at Anglia Ruskin University

I am a PhD student at Anglia Ruskin University at the Faculty of Education – in Cambridge. My reserach is on ESE (Environmental and Sustainability Education) and my focus is Christian ESE providers. My research method is ethnography to look into case studies in the UK. I am originally from Malta, and my alma mater is the University of Malta, where I studied Contemporary Mediterranean Studies with specialisation in Anthropology. I read for my MA in European Studies at the University of Sussex. I have since worked at the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU (in Brussels) as the first Attache for Education, Youth and Culture. In the UK, where I currently live (with my husband and two children), I worked for the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (ex-Ofqual), and more recently as reviews of results monitoring, and appeals, at OCR, the exams board part of Cambridge University Press and Assessment.
