I completed my PhD at Anglia Ruskin University's School of Education where I am now a Senior Lecturer at the ARU's Chelmsford campus. My reserach is on ESE (Environmental and Sustainability Education) and my focus is Christian ESE providers. My research method is ethnography to look into case studies in the UK. I am originally from Malta, and my alma mater is the University of Malta, where I studied Contemporary Mediterranean Studies with specialisation in Anthropology. I read for my MA in European Studies at the University of Sussex. I have since worked at the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU (in Brussels) as the first Attache for Education, Youth and Culture. In the UK, where I currently live (with my husband and two children), I worked for the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (ex-Ofqual), and more recently as reviews of results monitoring, and appeals, at OCR, the exams board part of Cambridge University Press and Assessment.
