Michael Thomas is a professor of education and social justice and director of the Centre for Educational Research (CERES) in the School of Education at Liverpool John Moores University. His primary research focus is digital education and social justice across a range of sectors from higher education to schools, both in the UK and internationally (Asia, Europe and low-to-middle-income countries such as West Africa), and his current projects explore inequalities related to gender, social class and disabilities.
