Dr Poppy Gibson is an early career researcher and senior lecturer in primary education. Poppy is course leader for both the BA Hons Primary Education Studies degree, and the innovative Blended Accelerated BA Hons in Primary Education Studies at Anglia Ruskin University, Essex. Poppy recently graduated with merit on the Master’s in Mental Health Science (MSc). Poppy is also a qualified Inside-Out Prison Educator. Poppy previously worked for four years as a senior lecturer in primary education, and course lead of the two-year accelerated Primary Education degree, at the University of Greenwich, moving into higher education after more than a decade working in London primary schools. Poppy’s primary research interests revolve around mental health and wellbeing, while she also has a passion for edtech in helping students achieve.
