Curriculum in a Changing World: Podcast Series

We’re excited to announce the release of a new podcast series inspired by the BERA 50th anniversary publication Curriculum in a Changing World: 50 think pieces on education, policy, practice, innovation & inclusion

This series brings to life the key themes of the book, exploring how curriculum design and implementation has evolved—from traditional, knowledge-based approaches to dynamic, competency-focused frameworks. Through thought-provoking conversations and expert insights, the series examines critical topics:

  • Perspectives on government policy and curriculum
  • Promoting equality, diversity and inclusion through meaningful curriculum design
  • Navigating Change in Teacher Education
  • Future directions shaped by climate change, digital transformation, and societal shifts

The series celebrates curriculum research and practice across the four UK nations and beyond, reflecting the enduring legacy of Lawrence Stenhouse and the work of the British Curriculum Forum (BCF).
