My name is Sofia Mavrogeni and I am an Academic Liaison Librarian at the University of Bedfordshire. I am new in my profession and my teaching experience is currently still limited.
I undertook my personal studies in education studying Business Studies. I completed my undergraduate studies at De Montfort University, and I continued my postgraduate studies achieving an MSc at Oxford Brookes University. I then completed my postgraduate librarianship studies in 2014 at Robert Gordon University.
Having to provide Information Literacy teaching is a current requirement in my job profile. To fulfil this role and to be prepared, I am currently undertaking my PGCertHE studies. The course has given me a great opportunity to study and learn different teaching theories and methods, enhancing my understanding and reflecting on my practice.
