Simon Glenister

CEO at Noise Solution CIC

Simon is the founder and CEO of Noise Solution CIC. Pioneering digital youth work for the last 10 years, Noise Solution was named as one of the UK’s top 100 performing social enterprise’s (Natwest SE100) in 2019 and 2020.

Simon has spent the last 10 years researching designing and testing approaches to digital youth work (specifically, utilising music tech mentoring and digital storytelling to facilitate well-being increases). Prior to that, Simon worked in multiple local authority settings such as Youth Offending with vulnerable youth. Simon is invested in the importance of fusing research with practice and the implementation of robust impact capture and analysis. This work draws on a recent MEd that he completed at Cambridge University, investigating well-being in a digital youth work context.

Simon’s musical experience and specialism in music technology come from a lifelong career as a professional musician encompassing multiple recording deals, international touring and many major festival appearances.
