Graduate Teaching Assistant at Leeds Beckett University

Sheila Ball is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Leeds Beckett University in the second year of her doctoral studies. Her research focus is: Developing equity through Kline's Thinking Environment.

Sheila has 25 years’ experience in education including teaching English and Modern Foreign Languages & senior leadership in secondary schools and alternative provision and education consultancy. From 2016-22, Sheila led a small yet dynamic team within the HertsCam Network enabling facilitators and network leaders to develop leadership capacity in schools and enhance children and young people’s learning both in the UK and internationally.

As a qualified Time to Think facilitator, Sheila is passionate about creating conditions which enable adults and young people alike to flourish, particularly those who are marginalised.
