Sharon Smith is a Visiting Lecturer and Associate Researcher at the University of Chester. Sharon completed her PGCE (2006) and MA in Teaching and Learning (2010) at Manchester Metropolitan University, before completing her Doctorate at The University of Chester (2020).

Sharon’s research interests are underpinned by her belief in the need for a movement away from homogenised educational practices at a local, national and global level and in the prioritisation of student and teacher experiences to inform educational reform.
