Paula Moses, Mrs

Lecturer in Education (Primary and Early Years) at University of Cumbria in London

Paula is an experienced primary school teacher and former Headteacher with a good track record of working with a wide range of schools in areas of high deprivation. She is now a Lecturer in Education at the University of Cumbria in London, a small and multicultural campus in the heart of East London.

Paula also runs the Community Interest Company, Permanent Education CIC, to train teachers in Philosophical teaching & learning and Metacognition as well as running projects in schools to promote thinking skills, art and permaculture as part of the UK National Curriculum. Paula has completed a PhD at The University of Cumbria about the Primary Curriculum’s role in enabling people to achieve ‘success in life’. Prior to teaching, Paula was a UK wide Manager for the sector skills council, Skillset, to develop skills and training for the film, animation, computer games and interactive media industries.
