Nicola Parkin, Mrs

PhD student at Cardiff University

After 15 years of teaching primary and early years, I began a PhD in the School of Psychology at Cardiff University, evaluating the impact of the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust's Generation Wild project. My thesis focuses on the role of the teacher in facilitating children's nature connection, and understanding the barriers which teachers perceive to teaching outdoors.
