Lucy is an international education consultant. She began her career as a Science teacher, and then spent time living and working with teachers in five 'top-performing' education systems; the basis for her book, ‘Cleverlands’. Since then she has worked as an independent consultant, supporting governments with evidence-informed education policy design. Most recently, she designed the National Teacher Policy for Guyana, and reviewed the curriculum in Northern Ireland. She is also International Director at the Centre for Education Systems and Associate Advisor on Curriculum at Swansea University.
