Kerry Jordan-Daus, Ms

Principal Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University

Kerry is Assistant Head of the School Humanities and Educational Studies at Canterbury Christ Church University. She is in the final thesis stage of her Education Doctorate, a narrative inquiry into women leaders’ in education use of social media. Kerry has extensive experience of leadership of Initial Teacher Education Programmes. She is currently teaching about mentoring and coaching on UG and PG Courses.

She has more than 17 years of experience of working in Higher Education in various leadership roles. Prior to this she was a senior leader in a secondary school in Kent.

Kerry has worked in partnership with many schools in her Higher Education career. About 6 years ago, she met and formed a coaching relationship with Dr Claire Tyson, who was new to her role as research lead.

When approached by Claire to participate in a discussion about the relationship, Kerry saw this as an opportunity to reflect on how she has made sense of the partnership dimension of her role and responsibility.
