Jan Hetherington, Dr
Staffordshire University
Dr Jan Hetherington graduated from Staffordshire University with an EdD, with research interests in democracy, school governance and policy. Jan works from a socially critical perspective, utilising Bourdieu to illuminate social inequality. Her thesis, which explored these themes through the Cooperative Academy Trust, was awarded the Belmas Best Thesis award. Jan continues to work with Staffordshire University as an external doctoral supervisor.
