Person
Esther is a Course Director at Leeds Beckett University, where she teaches modules on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Carnegie School of Education. Her teaching portfolio focuses on studies of primary education and of inclusive practice.
Esther was a primary school teacher and senior leader before moving to Higher Education. She has worked in different faith and community schools in Kent, Oxford, and North Yorkshire. Whilst working in schools, Esther had several responsibilities, including leading inclusive practice, early years, community partnerships, religious education, and collective worship.
Esther is a part-time PhD student at the University of Manchester, researching the relationship between values, ethos, and policy in faith majority settings. She is keen to partner with other researchers in this field.
