Claire Hedges is the Manager of the Centre for the Study of Global Development at The Open University. She has over 17 years of global teacher development and programme management experience, with a focus on inclusive and collaborative school and community-based teacher development. She is a founding member of the Teacher Education in Sub-Saharan Africa network (TESSA) and has co-led national and large-scale teacher and community education programmes in Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Claire is currently a Co-investigator for the Mobile Learning for Empowerment of Marginalised Mathematics Educators research project in Bangladesh, also known as 3M Power. 3M Power project is a large-scale EdTech Hub-funded research project on technology enhanced teacher education for marginalised mathematics educators.
