Dr Christine Lewis is the MA Education Programme Leader at Edge Hill University. Her PhD study used autoethnography a critically reflexive methodology which has directly enriched her expertise in research methods and the reflective writing elements of the MA Education programme. She is currently writing a monograph entitled Adoptee Affinities, an exploration of interactions in adoptive family relationships. The universal significance of giving voice to stories in connecting the personal to the cultural has subsequently led Christine to the creation of a cross faculty Narrative Research Interest Group, providing encouragement and support for colleagues involved in narrative research. Before joining Edge Hill University Christine was a Secondary School Teacher and leader of CPD in a North West Secondary School.
