Dr Carla Briffett-Aktaş is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Foreign Studies at Xi’an Jiaotong University and is the principal investigator on a project titled ‘Developing the SVSJ pedagogical method: An international comparative study’ with colleagues in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Poland. Her research interests include social justice in education, socially just pedagogy, and student voice.
