Betul Babayigit, Dr

Senior Research Fellow at University of Nottingham

Betul is a postdoctoral researcher in an ESRC-funded adult education project conducted collaboratively by the University of Glasgow and the University of Nottingham. She earned her BA in English Language Teaching from the Middle East Technical University in 2012 and has since pursued a successful academic career in the field of Curriculum and Instruction. In 2022, she earned her Doctorate degree from Anadolu University. With a primary research focus on social justice in education, lifelong learning, adult education, and improving public education by strengthening educators and students for the 21st century, she possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in curriculum theory, development, and evaluation. She has been actively involved in numerous qualitative and mixed-methods research projects since 2014, and was awarded a fellowship by TÜBİTAK in 2020.
