2021 Masters Dissertation Award Winners

Every year BERA recognises academic excellence and rigour in research by a Master of Education student. This underscores BERA’s commitment to developing capacity, advancing quality and methodological originality within the field of educational research. 

This year the BERA College of Reviewers have awarded the prize to

Simone Eringfeld for her dissertation “Reimagining the Post-Coronial University through Podcasting: Hopes and Fears for the Future of Higher Education after Covid-19″

The judges also gave commendations to

Jack Reed, for his dissertation “Wading in the Dark: Exploring the Place, Use and Impact of Fear within Outdoor Adventurous Education

Isabel Kemnper, for her dissertation “School Councils: Democratic forums or exclusive clubs?
