Michael Maher completed his PhD at University of Northampton in 2022 where he now works as a Researcher for the Institute for Social Innovation and Impact. He has published work on participatory research, organisational theory, and the third sector, whilst contributing to work on peacebuilding, education, and children in care. A large part of his work has involved ensuring research accessibility, developing videos and booklets that inform research participants of their rights, as well as explain research methods to them in an appropriate manner. He has expertise in social impact evaluations through work with Canon, Circle Collective, and Spring Social Prescribing. Michael is also an ethics reviewer and member of the Data Committee at the University of Northampton and teaches Politics and International Relations at BA and MA levels and a founding member of his Faculties Early Career Researcher Network.
