Sophie Lacher, M.A., is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Adult Education at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU). She studied Integrative Social Sciences at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern (B.A., 2018) and Adult Education/Lifelong Learning at Humboldt University of Berlin (M.A., 2021). Since 2021, she has been employed as a research assistant at RPTU, contributing to both teaching and research. During her studies and academic career, she gained experience in various projects in the field of adult and continuing education. Her research interests include adult education in the context of disasters and civil protection, historical perspectives on adult education, biographical research, qualitative research methods, and the digitalisation of adult learning.
