Aria Zhang

Aria Zhang is a third-year undergraduate student in BA Education Studies at UCL Institute of Education (IOE), the Faculty of Education and Society. Her academic interests relate to gender studies, and the intersection of education and social justice. She is particularly passionate about LGBTQ+ advocacy in education and exploring how inclusive pedagogies can challenge structural inequalities. As a student research fellow, she has engaged in the Trans-Inclusivity Seminar Series at IOE, that examine trans feminist scholarship, educational equity and the role of academia in fostering social change. She is committed to amplifying underrepresented voices in academic spaces, facilitating inclusive dialogue, and advocating for gender justice in education.
