Dr Sally Ann Jones is a senior lecturer and deputy head (Programmes and Teaching) in the English Language and Literature Academic Group at the National Institute of Education, Singapore. Having taught in schools, she now works in teacher education. Her research centres on language and cognitive development in education in monolingual and multilingual settings with diverse learners.
