Steph Comley is an academic advisor at the University of Exeter and has been involved with online learning and technology enhanced learning in further and higher education for almost 20 years. She is passionate about ensuring technology used in teaching and learning is pedagogy driven, and is therefore meaningful as well as engaging. Steph has recently completed doctoral research in the use of games-based activities to support collaborative learning and is currently involved in setting up the Playful University initiative at Exeter. The club seeks to facilitate the sharing and development of playful academic practice in order that students and colleagues can integrate play and playfulness within their daily lives and through their teaching.
