David Chatterjee

Finance and Governance Manager at BERA

David joined BERA as Finance and Administration Officer in April 2017, before moving into the role of Finance and Governance Manager in 2019. David’s main responsibilities include financial processing and accounts, budget management, secretariat duties for BERA Council and the committees. He works closely with the Executive Director, Events Manager and Membership and Engagement Manager to ensure smooth running of the BERA Office.

David has a background in customer service from his previous role in the wine industry, where he was also responsible for financial operations and events management. 

David holds a BA Honours degree in History from Lancaster University, specialising in the representation of war in media and wartime propaganda between 1929-1950.
