Invitation to tender for a small research project: nasen journals

Background: Nasen is the leading organisation in the UK which aims to promote the education, training, advancement and development of all learners with special and additional support needs. It provides a range of publications for members and non-members which includes the three journals: The British Journal of Special Education; Support for Learning; The Journal of Special Educational Needs.

Aims of the enquiry:

•    To gather data to inform decision-making regarding the future commissioning of journals for nasen.

•    To establish usage of the current nasen journals and responses to a possible future model.

•    To contribute towards a situation in which nasen and its journals can have a reciprocally beneficial relationship with high standing in representing and shaping research and debates in relation to special educational needs and inclusion in the UK and internationally.

Tenders are invited from researchers with the institutional support of universities or equivalent, with a deadline of 30th June 2014. Please see the document below for further details. Please pass on these details to any colleagues who might be interested.
