BERA has grown and developed in recent years and is now home to a large number of leading educational researchers. As part of the creation of the BERA office, staff were and are still employed by UCL but work entirely for BERA. At this stage in our development, BERA has decided that it wishes to establish ourselves as our own employer. Initially this would be for any new or replacement posts but existing staff may be offered the chance to voluntarily transfer to the new terms and conditions. We therefore require specialist high level advice as to how to put these arrangements in place. We are looking for an experienced freelance HR expert with the capacity to undertake this work for us.
