BERA Ethical Guidelines – Research Assistant role required

BERA is looking for a research assistant to work in support of a working group revising the BERA ethical guidelines. The work will require up to 20 days between November 2016 and June 2017. We believe this post would be suitable for an early career researcher/PhD/EdD student with capacity to fit in with a schedule of tasks requested by the working group.

Essential skills are: Literature review/content analysis; Research design (questionnaires and interviews); Experience of communicating with schools and/or policy makers; An appreciation of diversity of understandings of education research and the role of ethical considerations in education research.

 The deadline for applications is 12pm on Monday 14th November.

 Those shortlisted will be requested for a Skype interview within 2 weeks of the application deadline.

Please also include your anticipated daily rate. BERA will also cover any required travel or administrative costs. The total budget for this work is £5,000.
