BERA Announces New College of Reviewers

After an open call earlier in the Summer, to which we received a high number of applications, we have now appointed new members to the BERA College of Reviewers. The applicants were shortlisted and interviewed, with a focus on the experiences and voices that were current gaps amongst the existing College of Reviewers We are confident the new members will provide valuable insight.

The BERA College of Reviewers is a group comprised of high quality academic reviewers including practitioners and policy makers who draw on research evidence. Members are drawn from a range of organisations and career experience, from Early Career Researchers to senior academics and users. The CoR works closely with BERA’s Engagement Committee who oversee most of our award schemes and ensure criteria fit with BERA’s strategic priorities.

We would like to welcome, and look forward to work with:

  • Tammy Campbell (London School of Economics)
  • Vini Lander (Leeds Beckett University)
  • Sally Riordan (University of Wolverhampton)

We would like to thank all applicants, we were impressed with the skills and expertise of all those who applied and hope that those who were unsuccessful on this occasion will find roles in the organisation in the years to come. We have vacancies and opportunities for members to become further involved with BERA every year and rely on the support and dynamism of our volunteers.
