This week BERA Chief Executive Nick Johnson speaks to Ratha Perumal. Ratha is a Senior Lecturer engaged in research and teaching in Education and Multilingualism at the School of Education and Communities at the University of East London. Ratha is also is a PhD student at King’s College London researching ‘The Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Degree Awarding Gap in Higher Education’ post 1992.
