The Struggle for Teacher Education – a free seminar and discussion forum

It is our pleasure to invite you to join us for an extended seminar and discussion forum exploring the current situation regarding Teacher Education and Teacher Education policy. This is a matter of particular significance in the UK at this time and, indeed, globally. The programme for the afternoon is as follows:
1200 – 1300  Lunch and the opportunity to hear from Professor Viv Ellis about the publication of a new book, Transforming Teacher Education: Reconfiguring the Academic Work.

1300 – 1500   Seminar presentations by Dr Harriet Rowley (Manchester Metropolitan University), Dr Tom Are Trippestad (Centre of Educational Research, Bergen University College, Norway) and Sam Twiselton, (member of the Carter Review panel)
