Please join our panel for a discussion of the theoretical, methodological and practical issues involved in researching education in a socially just way. This session is organised by the Social Justice Special Interest Group, in conjunction with the Methodologies Special Interest Group.

Programme: This session aims to introduce the Social Justice SIG, its work and priorities, and how new members can be involved in this work.

13.15 – 15.00  Main Session – Panel discussion focused on the following, interlinked, questions:

• What do we mean by education for social justice?
• How can we do education research in a socially just way?
• What are the barriers to conducting research in a socially just way/ for social justice?
