The Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain is a registered charity

The Purpose of the Society is:

• To promote for the public benefit the advancement and teaching of Philosophy of Education
• In furtherance of this objective but not further or otherwise the Society shall have the following powers:

1. To arrange and provide for meetings and conferences on subjects of general and special interest to Philosophy of Education.
2. To keep a register of members, their qualifications and appointments. 
3. To provide for the publication of the Journal of Philosophy of Education.

The 2020 annual conference will take place from 27-29 March 2020 at New College, Oxford
