The School of Education wishes to appoint a highly motivated and visionary professor to lead and develop research and teaching activities within the area of educational effectiveness.  The successful candidate will be Director of the School’s Centre for Effective Education for the first five years of the post, with the opportunity for renewal.

The chosen candidate must have the leadership qualities, determination and drive to build on the University’s substantial reputation and achievements in research and to enhance further its international standing.
