<p>The Faculty of Education Research Students&#8217; Association (FERSA) invites  you to the 9th annual Cambridge Kaleidoscope Conference that will be taking place at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge, on  Friday, 1st June 2012.</p>
<p>This student-run conference has been hosted by the Faculty of Education since 2004. It is a not-to-be-missed chance for early career researchers to present their work and to know what is new in the field of educational research.</p>
<p>The conference welcomes researchers from any department and university, who may submit proposals for presentations and/or posters. The deadline for submissions is the 19th February 2012. All submissions will be peer reviewed.</p>

<p>A conference bringing together perspectives from philosophers of education and educators involved in outdoor education.</p>
<p>This small conference will take place in Edinburgh and have a maximum of 30 participants. Keynote speakers are Prof Peter Reason on enquiry as educational practice, Dr Chris Doddington on somaesthetics, and Dr Helen Lees on silence and the outdoors. The conference aims to explore new and old connections between philosophy, philosophy of education, and the theory and practice of outdoor education. Short papers from participants (up to 3000) words are welcomed, but are not a condition of participation. Papers will be circulated in advance for discussion at the conference.</p>
