BELMAS is an Associated Society of BERA. [Until recently it was called BEMAS] The Society seeks to advance the practice, teaching and study of educational management, administration and leadership in the United Kingdom, and to contribute to international developments in these areas. The Society is unique in bringing together:

• those who hold or aspire to leadership and management roles in schools, colleges, universities, local education authorities and other organisations with an educational purpose
• those who provide training, advice and consultancy in leadership, management and administration in education
